Twenty Years of Getting It Right.
BridgePath Scientific is a veteran-owned laboratory services and equipment company based in Frederick, Maryland. Since 2006, we have helped biotech, pharmaceutical, academic, and government research organizations solve the problems that fall outside the day-to-day scope of a research lab, so their teams can focus on the work that matters.
How We Started
BridgePath Scientific was founded by a U.S. Navy veteran who served during Desert Storm and the Bosnia conflict as an Aviation Electronics Technician. In that role, he maintained and repaired more than 90 different pieces of avionic equipment across combat platforms, from navigation and weapons systems to flight instrumentation and communications equipment, where failure was not an option.
That experience — diagnosing complex systems under pressure, maintaining equipment to exacting standards, and taking full accountability for the result — is the foundation on which BridgePath was built.
The company was started in 2006 with a clear purpose: to help life sciences organizations handle the complicated, time-consuming problems they do not face every day. Moving a laboratory. Repairing a critical instrument. Sourcing a discontinued piece of equipment. Designing a new research space. These are not core competencies for a biotech company or a university lab. They are distractions from the real work. BridgePath exists to take them off your plate and get you back to what matters.

Our Team
BridgePath is a small team by design. We have built our staff to cover a deliberately broad range of capabilities — from general repair and hands-on logistics to team members with advanced scientific credentials, including staff with PhDs in Biochemistry.
That range is intentional. The problems our clients bring us are not all the same. A laboratory relocation requires logistics expertise and scientific judgment in equal measure. Equipment repair requires technical precision. Designing a research build-out requires someone who understands both construction and science. We have staffed accordingly.
What does not vary is the standard. Every person on the BridgePath team operates with the same accountability and attention to detail that defines how this company was built.

Built on Mission, Accountability, and Precision.
Military service instills a particular relationship with equipment, with reliability, and with accountability. An Aviation Electronics Technician does not get to decide which systems are important enough to maintain correctly. All of them are. The same standard applies here. We do not triage your equipment based on how expensive it is. We do not skip steps because a deadline is close. We do the job right, the first time, every time. That is the only acceptable outcome.
For lab directors and procurement managers, working with a veteran-owned company means working with people who have operated in environments where precision and reliability were non-negotiable. We bring that standard to every service call, every equipment sale, and every project we take on.
